“Traineeship “Innovations in the production of ferroalloys: ferrosilicon and ferrosilicomanganese. Utilisation of gas cleaning dust waste – microsilica and ferrosilicomanganese dust after gas cleaning. Best practices from leading European companies. Best practices of European companies”
1 – 6 March 2020 – Europe
We are very pleased to welcome you to Western Europe. Britannica Business Systems have put together a technical programme on the subject: “Innovations in Ferroalloys Production: ferrosilicon and ferrosilicomanganese. Use of gas cleaning dust waste – microsilica and ferrosilicomanganese dust after gas cleaning. Best Practices from Leading European Companies”, taking place from 1 to 6 March 2020 in Europe.
The Britannica Business Systems believes that participation in the internship will be indispensable for your professionals, as delegates are given the opportunity to experience the practical side to learn about the latest trends in ferroalloy production including the use of microsilica in concrete production in the construction industry. The delegation will study the standards for their use on the example of advanced producers in Europe. The delegation will study innovative and energy efficient technologies of ferrosilicon and ferrosilicomanganese production, experience of using microsilica in the production of concrete or other purposes with a visit to advanced European production sites. These events highlight issues of new directions in the production of ferroalloys (ferrosilicon and ferrosilicomanganese), modernisation of production, increasing efficiency of technological processes, issues of using gas cleaning dust waste – microsilica and ferrosilicomanganese dust after gas cleaning, issues of integrated use of raw materials, reduction of recycled waste and many others.
Delegates will visit the following ferroalloy plants while participating in the internship:
- FINNFJORD – plant in Finnsnes, Norway
- ELKEM – plant in Bremanger, Norway
- FERROGLOBE – factory in Maliaño, Spain
- OFZ – plant in Siroka/Martin, Slovakia
- PECHINEY ELECTROMETALLURGY – factory in Flero, Italy
The programme of the stay includes meetings with representatives of management apparatus and technical specialists of relevant institutions and companies with experience in these matters in Europe and other countries.
