“Innovations in automotive hydrogen fuel cell manufacturing. Innovations from leading UK manufacturers”. The internship is organised jointly with the UK Chamber of Commerce and Industry and takes place from 16 to 22 May 2021 in the UK.
*From May 2021, the UK will officially open all production facilities for visits.
This internship covers the modern production of automotive hydrogen fuel cells using the example of advanced UK companies, the competitive advantages of the companies visited, the equipment and technologies used. As part of the programme delegates will visit factories and production sites of leading European companies such as:
- CERES POWER (BOSCH) – plant in Redhill (UK).
- ITM POWER – factory in Sheffield (UK)
- CPH2 – plant in Doncaster (UK)
- INGERSOLL RAND is a plant near Dublin, Ireland.
As part of the internship, delegates have the opportunity to see the production facilities of leading companies in Europe and to meet with their specialists and discuss such issues as the technological process in the development of this type of energy storage for trucks and cars with electric traction, the creation of fuel cell units in which hydrogen is oxidised and electricity is generated, the creation of advanced fuel cells with proton exchange membrane (PEM), the integration of fuel cells as the main energy storage system, and the development of fuel cells as the main energy storage system.
