At the request of several companies, as well as due to the interest in this topic, Britannica Business Systems offers to take part in international practical internship on the subject: “THE APPLICATION OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES AND AI (artificial intelligence) in THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR” will be held in Europe from February 2 to 8, 2025.
This internship highlights the issues of innovation, digital transformation and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the production processes of agricultural plants to increase productivity, optimize processes and improve product quality.
During the internship, the delegation will learn the best practices for the introduction of AI in agriculture, the use of AI (artificial intelligence) to work in sowing and harvesting cycles, to analyze climatic conditions, control over special equipment, the use of autonomous control systems for special equipment, monitoring fields using AI, agricultural plant management systems, the use of robotic technology based on AI and other. Additionally, the delegation will discuss the advantages of using AI technologies in crop production, animal husbandry, precision farming technologies, automatic livestock counting systems for pig and meat processing plants, industrial video analytics systems for product quality control and technological processes, intelligent decision support systems and computer vision, the use of artificial intelligence for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment in order to reduce time downtime and easier troubleshooting, all kinds of digital solutions used by visited companies in Europe.
During the internship in Europe, there are planned visits to companies such as:
- YARA INTERNATIONAL – production and additional AI center in Porsgrunn, Norway
- SYNGENTA GROUP – research center working on the development of AI–based technologies in Basel, Switzerland
- BAYER – a center for the development of AI for agriculture in Monheim am Rhein, Germany
- CNH Industrial is a research and development center in San Matteo and a factory in Modena, Italy
