Considering the relevance and interest of the topic and knowledge by advanced specialists of coal companies for subsequent use in practice, we suggest taking part in international practical internships on the following topics:
1/ “Artificial intelligence and robotics in the coal industry and advanced coal mining experience. The experience of US coal companies”, held from August 18 to 24, 2024 in the USA.
2/ “Artificial intelligence and robotics in the coal industry and advanced coal mining experience. The experience of coal companies in Latin America”, held from August 11 to 17, 2024 in Latin America.
*Delegates receive visas on time according to business invitations from our company. You do not need a visa to Latin America. Participation in these internships will become indispensable for your specialists, as delegates are given the opportunity to get acquainted with the practical side of the issues of the use of artificial intelligence in the production facilities of coal companies, the use of robotics and unmanned equipment at the company‘s mines, methods of coal mining, learn recommendations for improving known methods and technologies for open and underground mining, to learn the issues of the introduction of modern technologies for diagnosing the condition of mining equipment, as well as other relevant issues. The internship provides an overview and visits to the operating coal mines of the countries visited, as well as practical experience and forecasts/projects for the future.
When participating in the first program, the delegates will visit the following companies:

- USA ALLIANCE RESOURCES PARTNERS – Appaluchia Mine,
- USA AMERICAN CONSOLIDATED NATURAL RESOURCES – production facilities in Monongah, USA
- CONSOL ENERGY INC – Pennsylvania Greene coal complex, USA
With participation in the second program (Latin America – Brazil and Argentina), the delegates will visit the following companies:
- YACIMIENTOS CARBONIFEROS RIO TURBIO (YCRT) – Rio Turbio production Complex – Argentina;
- COPELMI – production facilities in Mina do Recreio, Brazil;
- MINING HUB – Brazil‘s largest mining center for developments in the field of robotics and Artificial Intelligence (visit during the visit: technopark, laboratories, University of Minas Gerais and others) – Belo Horizonte, Brazil;
- IBRAM – Association of Mining Companies and Institutes of Brazil – Brasilia, Brazil;
- Ministry of Science and Technology – Brasilia, Brazil;
- EPE is a government energy research organization for the Ministry of Mining and Energy (MME);
- *Research Center for Responsible Mining at University of Sao Paulo (NAP.Mineração–USP), titled “The Future of the Mining Industry“ – Creating digital transformation applications in Sao Paulo, Brazil
Additionally, during the internship, the delegation will discuss the specifics of production and the technologies used, the equipment used, and the analytical equipment used. The delegation will learn the equipment used for wastewater disposal, for conducting and controlling technological processes, for finished products, analytical equipment, etc. using the example of advanced manufacturers.
