“Innovations in the production of veterinary drugs and pharmaceuticals for veterinary use. Innovative developments on the example of leading UK manufacturers”. The internship is organised jointly with the UK Chamber of Commerce and Industry and takes place from 15 to 21 May 2022 in the UK..

This internship highlights the modern production of veterinary medicines using the example of advanced UK companies, competitive advantages of the companies visited, the equipment and technologies used. As part of the programme delegates will visit factories and production sites leading European enterprises, such as:
- BIMEDA factory in Denbigh (UK)
- DECHRA VETERINARY PRODUCTS – plant in Skipton Skipton (UK)
- VETPLUS – plant in Lytham (UK) (UK)
- ELANCO ANIMAL HEALTH (BAYER Animal Health, NOVARTIS) – plant in Speke (UK) Speke (UK)
- NORBROOK – plant in Newry (UK)
During the internship delegates have the opportunity to see the production facilities of leading European companies, as well as meet with their specialists and discuss such issues as development and production of animal drugs, biological and chemical-pharmaceutical preparations for animals, study the experience of implementation of the GMP system at the visited enterprises and its practical application, quality control of products at the visited plants, innovative development of new effective veterinary drugs, feed additives and premixes, about
In addition, the delegation will visit scientific and research centres of British manufacturers of veterinary drugs, learn about new innovative drugs, new developments and vaccines for the prevention of animal diseases, expansion of the range of products based on scientific developments, the processes of improvement of technological processes of products, etc.
